Saw these concrete art pieces outside the Museum and they weigh..

this heavy.

Wondered how they got them there???

The Entrance...

No, Dinosaur or Whale?

I remembered, as a child,

I was always fascinated and at times 'fearful' of a HUGE skeleton of something.

Maybe a Whale, as I entered the entrance.

That made the Museum looked like the one in the movies.

Now...

It has transformed to this Love Tank to meet modern demands.

There were though, these 'Dinos' around to celebrate the

'Family Fun Carnival' in conjunction with International Museum Day.

As shown in the papers.

I missed this one, maybe, it's gone to look for food..

and this friendly one probably.. went for a walk with the kids.

The old facade is still there ... beautifully maintained..

The well known 'Dome'...

reminded me of those I saw in Europe.

The once talked about 'Spiral staircase' ..

Fun for kids and adults.

Then to MUSEUM 2..

NO! not the movie a 'Night at the Museum 2'

but the other side of the Museum..

This is the extension block...

The 'Swinging Chandelier'..

This HUGE display screen will show, images of people in the area.

I manage to capture an image of myself...

Children learn to be interactive ...

'Christian Lacroix' is here too.

When tummy calls, there is the 'Novus Cafe' that serves delicious cakes.

Try the Carrot cake, I love it.

Or.. if you must stay for the late, late
