These dramatic looking pigeons, looked like they have backstage makeup.
These are the CROWNED PIGEONS.
The crowned pigeons differ from other pigeons in possessing a large,
fan-shaped crest of erect lacy feathers.
PARROTS.
The bold, colorful and intelligent birds.
All parrots have curved beaks and all have 4 toes on each foot,
2 pointing front and the other 2 pointing back.
Many parrots are kept as pets because they are intelligent and musical.
They are fun because some can imitate human speech.
Parrots can live to about 80yrs in the wild.
Did you know Lovebirds are parrots.

PENGUINS.
Penguins are birds but unlike most birds, they cannot fly.
Their body is shaped like a torpedo and it makes them very efficient in swimming.
Their average speed in the water is about 15miles per hour.
Penguins cannot breathe underwater,
therefore they will get a gulp of air before diving into the water
and they are able to hold their breath for a long time.
In the wild 75% of their time is spend underwater in search
for food in the ocean. In the water they will dive
and flap their wings and that makes it look like they are flying.
